Track AI ad traffic with redirect URLs and UTM parameters
A redirect link lets an advertising service record a click before sending the browser to the advertiser’s destination. Campaign parameters then help the destination’s analytics identify the traffic source. The two mechanisms work together, but they do not prove that the visitor converted or that every request came from a human.
Follow the redirect chain
A payidle.com creative links to a server path containing an opaque served-ad identifier. The server checks that the advertisement was rendered recently, resolves the reviewed destination stored for its campaign and returns an HTTP 302 redirect. A destination supplied in the click request cannot replace the stored campaign destination.
The final URL receives utm_source=payidle.com and utm_medium=display. The service adds campaign identifier defaults when the advertiser has not supplied a campaign name or ID. Existing destination parameters and the page fragment are preserved. The source and medium intentionally identify this advertising channel rather than an old source embedded in a reused link.
Understand what the advertiser can measure
Analytics configured to process campaign parameters can group visits by their source, medium and campaign. The advertiser still needs appropriate analytics and a verified conversion definition on the destination. A redirect alone cannot report a purchase from an unrelated checkout or distinguish a serious lead from a casual visit.
A counted click and a landing-page session need not match exactly. A user may close the page, block analytics or revisit the same destination. Browser preview tools and automated requests can also reach public links. payidle.com deduplicates clicks per served ad and does not count HEAD link checks as clicks, but that is not independent human verification.
Keep attribution useful and private
The final advertiser URL does not need a chat transcript, conversation URL or device credential. payidle.com does not append those fields, and its redirect suppresses the chat-page referrer. Use campaign-level labels to answer marketing questions rather than sending unnecessary personal data into third-party analytics.
Test the complete chain before launch. Confirm the destination loads, existing parameters still work and the correct campaign appears in your own analytics. Landing pages must tolerate added query parameters; a signed URL that depends on an exact query string may require a different public destination. The current private deployment uses its tunnel host until the public domain is connected.
- Inspect the final URL, not just the displayed sponsor text.
- Keep source and medium consistent across a campaign.
- Verify a real destination conversion separately.
- Do not confuse a deduplicated click count with paid-click validation.
